By India Today World Desk: A Russian man whose daughter drew an anti-war image at college was sentenced to 2 years in jail on Tuesday on prices of discrediting the armed forces. However, the convicted man has fled and his whereabouts had been unclear, Reuters reported.

The drawing featured a Ukrainian flag with the phrases “Glory to Ukraine” and a Russian tricolour with the slogan “No to war”.

The convicted man has been recognized as Alexei Moskalyov. The court docket stated in an official posting on VKontakte, much like Facebook, that he had fled from home arrest.
