Russia-Ukraine conflict information updates: The Tamil Nadu authorities in India has introduced that the state authorities will bear the expense incurred to soundly transport Tamilians caught in Ukraine as a result of ongoing conflict with Russia.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Friday, February 25, acknowledged that the state authorities will care for the bills of Tamil college students being introduced again from Ukraine. After Russia declared conflict on Ukraine, the Indian authorities launched a 24-hour helpline to help Indian college students who’re nonetheless caught.

CM Stalin on Thursday, wrote to Minister of External Affairs Dr S Jaishankar requesting the federal government of India to evacuate Tamils who’re stranded in Ukraine.

In his letter yesterday, CM Stalin acknowledged that about 5,000 college students and different emigrants from TN are at present in Ukraine. He additional requested the Union Government to think about arranging particular mission flights to evacuate the stranded Indians.

In his letter, he stated, “The State Government has opened 24×7 help desks and a State Nodal Officer has also been appointed to facilitate evacuation of stranded Tamils in Ukraine to coordinate with the Government of India, their families and district administration.”
