Russia shoots down 8 Ukrainian drones over Crimea, says ‘terrorist attack’ foiled

By Reuters: Russia’s defence ministry stated its forces had prevented Ukraine from attacking the Black Sea port of Sevastopol on Sunday, destroying seven aerial and two underwater drones.

“This morning, an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack by seven unmanned aerial vehicles and two unmanned underwater vehicles on objects on the territory of the Crimean Peninsula near the city of Sevastopol was thwarted,” the ministry stated on the Telegram messaging app.

There have been no casualties and no harm, the ministry added.

It stated that two aerial drones have been shot down over the Black Sea at an awesome distance from the shoreline, whereas 5 have been intercepted by Russia’s digital warfare forces.

Two unmanned underwater autos (UUV), referred to as underwater drones have been found within the northern a part of the Black Sea, and destroyed by hearth, the ministry stated.
