Russia launched 36 rockets in large assault in a single day on Ukraine, says Zelenskyy

By Agence France-Presse: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy mentioned Saturday Russia carried out a “large assault” on Ukraine overnight, following reported strikes on energy infrastructure that resulted in power outages across the country.

“The aggressor continues to terrorise our country. At night, the enemy launched a massive attack: 36 rockets, most of which were shot down… These are vile strikes on critical objects. Typical tactics of terrorists,” Zelensky mentioned on social media.

The deputy head of the Ukrainian presidency mentioned over one million households in Ukraine have been left with out electrical energy following the Russian strikes.

“As of now, 672,000 subscribers have been disconnected in Khmelnytskyi area, 188,400 in Mykolaiv area, 102,000 in Volyn area, 242,000 in Cherkasy area, 174,790 in Rivne area, 61,913 in Kirovograd area and 10,500 in Odessa area,” Kyrylo Tymoshenko mentioned on social media.
