The state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II will happen on Monday, September 19, at Westminster Abbey in London.

The funeral will happen at 11 am on September 19. A financial institution vacation within the United Kingdom has been permitted by King Charles III for the day of the funeral of his mom, Queen Elizabeth II.

Earlier within the day, King Charles III was proclaimed Britain’s new monarch in a ceremony of the Accession Council.

Queen Elizabeth II died in Scotland aged 96 after battling well being issues since final October, the Royal Family introduced on Thursday.
