A Russian court docket has discovered Alexei Navalny responsible on fees of large-scale misappropriation of funds. The jailed Kremlin critic now faces as much as 13 extra years in jail, reported the Russian media organisation, The Moscow Times, on Tuesday, March 22.

As per the Moscow Times report, Alexei Navalny is already serving a sentence at a maximum-security jail in Pokrov, 100 kilometres east of Moscow.

Judge Margarita Kotova discovered Navalny responsible in a makeshift court docket contained in the jail.

Last week, state prosecutors had requested the decide to condemn Navalny to an extra 13 years in jail on fees of fraud and contempt of court docket, reported The Moscow Times.

Investigators have accused Navalny of embezzling greater than $4.7 million in donations that got to his political organisations.
