As per native sources, 50 ladies have been held kidnapped by a gaggle of suspected jihadists. They mentioned that the ladies have been taken on Thursday and Friday in a northern a part of the landlocked nation.

News company AFP reported, “Suspected jihadists have abducted roughly 50 women on Thursday and Friday in a part of northern Burkina Faso that is regularly hit by violence, local officials and residents told AFP. Some have escaped in the meantime, the sources said on condition of anonymity.”

As per reviews, Burkina, which is among the poorest nations and has restricted pure sources, has been grappling with frequent offensives by extremist teams since 2015. As per AFP, 9 folks have been killed in a suspected jihadist assault on a mosque in northeastern Burkina Faso at dusk on Wednesday.
