By Press Trust of India: A physician who is claimed to be Pakistan’s first Hindu feminine civil servant is now the assistant commissioner and administrator in Punjab province’s Hassanabdal metropolis, the primary within the city’s historical past, the media reported on Monday.

Dr Sana Ramchand Gulwani, 27, joined the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) after passing the Central Superior Services (CSS) examination 2020.

She assumed cost because the assistant commissioner and administrator of Hassanabdal metropolis within the Attock district, the Dawn newspaper reported.

Gulwani cleared the examination in her first try and was, in line with many activists from the Hindu neighborhood, the primary Pakistani lady from the neighborhood to have handed the examination because the Partition, The Express Tribune newspaper mentioned.

She grew up in Sindh province’s Shikarpur metropolis and have become a health care provider on her mother and father’ want earlier than enrolling within the Federal Public Service Commission, the report mentioned.

“I do not know if I am the first one, but (I) have never heard of someone (female) from my community even appearing for the exam,” Gulwani had mentioned after clearing her examination.
