Pakistani tv channel ARY News mentioned on Wednesday that its senior government vice-president Ammad Yousaf had been arrested in Karachi. The channel’s assertion got here simply hours after it was taken off air for being vital of the federal government.

Another purpose cited behind the transfer to dam the channel was that it allegedly aired seditious content material. According to ARY News, Yousaf was arrested with no warrant from his residence within the DHA space in Karachi.
