Pakistan Taliban endorses violent protests by Imran Khan supporters in opposition to navy

By Hamza Ameer: Sarbakaf Mohmand, a commander of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), has endorsed the violent protests carried out by Imran Khan supporters specializing in navy installations all through the nation.

In an announcement, Sarbakaf Mohmand, the self-proclaimed shadow governor of Zhob province in Balochistan, known as on Pakistan Taliban fighters and operatives to affix the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protests.

Mohmand expressed his delight on the “success” of the protesters in reaching their targets over the earlier two days. Pakistan witnessed violent protests following the dramatic arrest of Imran Khan in a corruption case.

Protesters took out their wrath on the navy, torching the residence of the corps commander in Lahore and laying siege on the doorway to the navy’s fundamental headquarters in Rawalpindi.

The Peshawar Cantonment and roads leading to Corps Headquarters and residential of Corps Commander in Peshawar wanted to be sealed inside the aftermath of violent protests.

Mohmand moreover urged the protesters to make use of additional sources and energy to “teach a lesson” to the navy establishment.

However, the violent protests have ended following Imran Khan’s launch by the Islamabad High Court. The former Pakistan PM was granted defending bail in all situations and can’t be arrested till May 15.
