Pakistan provincial govt offers compensation to household of murdered Sikh dealer

Caretaker Chief Minister of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province Muhammad Azam Khan handed over the cheques to the households of slain Manmohan Singh and injured Tarlok Singh.

Manmohan Singh, 35, was attacked by some armed males after which he was shifted to a hospital however was pronounced useless by the medical doctors.

Khan directed the police to create a safety plan for the safety of members of the Sikh group within the province within the wake of rising incidents of killings and focusing on of members of the minority group.

A cheque of Rs 3 lakh was given to the household of Tarlok Singh.
