Pakistan: Imam medication a Hafiz-e-Quran boy and rapes him all night time at a mosque

In Pakistan’s Gujrat, a case of an unnatural intercourse offence has come to the fore whereby a Maulvi sexually assaulted a boy by calling him to the mosque on the pretext of providing the Taraweeh prayer throughout the month of Ramzan. An FIR has been registered towards the accused Maulvi who has been recognized as Mohammed Riyaz and has been despatched to jail. Gujarat Police confirmed the arrest of the accused on March 27.

According to reviews in Pakistani media, the incident passed off on the night time between March 9 and 10, 2023. The incident passed off in the Jamia Masjid Buraq at Khalidabad within the Shaheen Chowk police station precinct in Gujrat. The sufferer said in his criticism that Maulvi Muhammad Riyaz of Jama Masjid known as him on the night time of March 9 and requested him to return to the mosque.

Maulvi had requested the boy to guide the Taraweeh prayers within the mosque, because the boy is Hafiz-e-Quran, which implies somebody who has fully memorized the Quran. After the Taraweeh prayers, the Maulvi requested the sufferer boy to sleep within the mosque itself, because the mosque committee members weren’t obtainable. The criticism says that accused Riyaz blended sleeping drugs or intoxicant into the meals he gave to the sufferer.

The sufferer stated that he had fallen unconscious throughout the night time. The sufferer witnessed Maulvi Riaz raping him when he regained consciousness within the morning. After he awoke, the Maulvi started threatening the sufferer to maintain his mouth shut when he tried to cease him. It is alleged that the maulvi abused and thrashed the sufferer.

The sufferer has demanded stern punishment towards the maulvi in his criticism. The police registered an FIR underneath part 377 of the Pakistan Penal Code on this criticism. The accused Maulvi has been arrested and despatched to jail.

The Police stated that an investigation is being carried out into the matter. The accused Maulvi used to present non secular educating to the folks within the mosque.
