“We have officially issued an advisory regarding a potential threat to PTI’s rally tomorrow as per the red alert issued by the security agencies. Imran Khan should postpone his plan as any anti-state element can seize this opportunity to spread anarchy in the country,” Pakistan’s inside minister Rana SanaUllah Khan tweeted.

PTI’s senior vp Shireen Mazari had slammed the Islamabad administration for not permitting Khan’s helicopter to land. “ICT has denied permission for IK heli to land at Parade Ground altho GHQ permission came yesterday – need permission from both! Clearly this is farcical and a case of good cop-bad cop. The fear of Imran Khan has seeped into Conspirators’ minds and they continue to threaten his life,” she tweeted.

Earlier this week, PTI had petitioned the Islamabad High Court (IHC), in search of permission for Khan’s helicopter to be allowed to land and take off from the Parade Ground.

The nation’s military gave its nod, saying it has “no objection” to Khan’s chopper touchdown on the Parade Ground, which is below its management.

Khan survived a gun assault on his convoy throughout a protest march in Wazirabad on November 3. He was ousted from energy in April after shedding a no-confidence vote. The no-confidence movement, Khan claimed, was introduced in as a part of a conspiracy by the US to de-seat him over his impartial international coverage choices on Afghanistan, China, and Russia.

The US has categorically denied the allegations.
