The international ministry of Pakistan has written a letter to the Taliban in Afghanistan to hint and arrest Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) chief Masood Azhar, Pakistani media reported on Tuesday. Pakistan has been going through strain from Western powers to behave in opposition to Masood Azhar, a UN-designated terrorist.

Pakistan has written a letter to the Taliban’s international ministry, asking authorities in Afghanistan to find and arrest Azhar. Masood Azhar was named because the mastermind of the February 2019 Pulwama suicide assault, which had resulted within the killing of 40 CRPF troopers.

Maulana Masood Azhar is ‘largely possible hiding’ in Nangarhar province or Kunar province of Afghanistan, the letter mentioned, Pakistani media reported.
