Over 50 college students mysteriously poisoned in Mexico faculty, third incident in 2 weeks

At least 57 college students had been poisoned by an unidentified substance in a rural secondary faculty in Mexico. The mass poisoning on Friday was the third at Chiapas faculties over the previous two weeks.

By India Today Web Desk: In the southern Mexican state of Chiapas, as many as 57 college students had been poisoned by an unidentified substance in a rural secondary faculty, native authorities mentioned, reported Reuters. After the incident, experiences emerged on social media that college students had examined optimistic for cocaine at a personal laboratory.

However, the dad and mom of the scholars suspect that their kids might have died as they had been uncovered to contaminated meals or water. The situation of 1 scholar stays important and the others are secure.

This is the third such incident of mass poisoning at Chiapas faculties over the previous two weeks, native media experiences counsel.

“57 teenage students in the rural community of Bochil had arrived at a local hospital with symptoms of poisoning. One student in a “delicate” situation was transferred to a hospital within the state’s capital whereas the remaining had been secure, the Mexican Social Security Institute mentioned in a press release.

Leaders of Bochil mentioned they’re outraged by the incident, including that they’re collaborating with a state prosecutor’s investigation.

The incident fuelled anger amongst dad and mom of kids as they gathered on the basketball court docket of the varsity, asking for solutions from the authorities. One man in a Facebook video was heard saying that his daughter had been poisoned and examined optimistic for cocaine at a personal laboratory, together with different college students.

The state prosecutor’s workplace mentioned on Saturday that it had carried out 15 toxicology exams which had all come out destructive for illicit medication.
