Operations at US Embassy in London resume after safety risk

As per native media stories, there was a safety alert on the US Embassy in London as workers had been evacuated and had been requested to remain “far away from the windows”.

By India Today Web Desk: Operations on the United States Embassy in London resumed after a short safety risk on Wednesday. The embassy within the British capital metropolis flagged a hazard after a “suspicious package” was discovered exterior the premises.

Taking to Twitter, the US embassy stated it was again to regular enterprise operations.

“The US Embassy is back to normal business operations. Local authorities investigated and cleared a suspicious package outside the Embassy. Thanks to Metropolitan Police for your swift action, and thanks to all visitors for your cooperation and patience at this time,” the US Embassy stated.
