By Munish Chandra Pandey: Jail authorities in Nepal have refused to launch serial killer Charles Sobhraj even because the nation’s Supreme Court ordered his launch.
The Nepalese jail authorities declare that the Supreme Court’s determination is “vague” and doesn’t point out wherein case the discharge has been granted to him.
On Wednesday, a bench of judges Sapna Pradhan Malla and Til Prasad Shrestha ordered the discharge of 78-year-old Sobhraj, infamously often known as the ‘bikini killer’.

Sobhraj filed a petition to be launched from jail and the court docket handed orders for his launch on grounds of his outdated age.
The court docket had additionally authorised his deportation inside 15 days of his launch.
Charles Sobhraj was concerned in a lot of homicide, theft and dishonest circumstances. He was arrested on fees of murdering two American vacationers when he travelled to Nepal in 2003 and was sentenced to life imprisonment.
