The residents of Melitopol took to the streets after the alleged abduction of mayor Ivan Fedorov by the Russian forces on Saturday.

The residents gathered close to the constructing of the district state administration on Ivan Alekseev Street the place the occupiers have now settled.

Ivan Sergeevich was kidnapped from the constructing of the Taras Shevchenko Palace of Culture, the place the headquarters and centre for offering social help are positioned, after he refused to cooperate with the Russian navy.

In a Twitter submit, Dmytro Kuleba claimed that Yevhen Matveyev, mayor of Dniprorudne metropolis, was kidnapped by “Russian war criminals” on Sunday.
