A snake hunter in Jordan is retaining individuals — and reptiles — protected from hurt. Yaseen al-Sqour travels throughout the nation, eradicating the slithering critters from peoples’ properties.

He takes care of any snakes which can be injured earlier than releasing them again into the wild. He additionally believes that the reptiles have gotten used to residing alongside people.

“There are 37 kinds of snakes in Jordan and only seven of them are poisonous — 30 are non-poisonous, which you can live with at home,” al-Sqour informed Reuters. “They start getting used to living with humans.”

Al-Sqour says snakes are his favorite animal and he tries to lift consciousness about them by posting movies on social media.

“Yaseen al-Sqour taught me about the different kinds of snakes, the ones that are poisonous and the ones that are not,” said Sayed Adnan, a visitor to Jordan from Bahrain. “He is known as someone who travels long distances to save others.”
