Man pulled out of rubble 160 hours after large Turkey earthquake

By Reuters: Rescue groups from Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Belarus pulled a person alive from a collapsed constructing on Sunday 160 hours after the earthquake in Turkey, Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations mentioned.

“Rescue work to remove the man from the rubble lasted more than four hours,” the ministry mentioned on the Telegram messaging platform on Monday, alongside a video exhibiting rescuers pulling a person from the rubble and carrying him away.

“The work was carried out at night with a risk to life coming from a possible collapse of structures.”

Russia despatched a staff of rescuers final week to Turkey and Syria after Russian President Vladimir Putin talked to the leaders of each international locations.
