The Brussels Times reported that the practice driver had observed the lady falling on the tracks and rapidly hit the emergency brakes, which introduced the metro to an instantaneous standstill.Both the sufferer and the metro driver have been taken to a hospital for therapy, after which they have been allowed to go house.“The driver reacted very well but is very much so in shock, as is the victim,” a spokesperson for the Brussels public transport firm, which operates the metro, informed Brussels Times.The suspect, who had run away after pushing the lady in entrance of the practice, was arrested later.
