Israel rejects, Hamas welcomes U.N. Rights Council resolution to probe battle

Israel rejected and Hamas welcomed a call on Thursday by the U.N. Human Rights Council to launch a global investigation into crimes that will have been dedicated within the Israeli-Palestinian battle.
Israel’s Foreign Ministry stated the nation wouldn’t cooperate with the probe, deeming it a bid to “whitewash crimes committed by the terror organization Hamas”.

A spokesman for the Palestinian militant group known as its actions “legitimate resistance” and urged “immediate steps to punish” Israel.

“The action today instead threatens to imperil the progress that has been made,” stated the assertion issued by the U.S. mission to the U.N. in Geneva.
The United States, which has observer standing and no vote on the Geneva discussion board, didn’t communicate within the all-day particular session which adopted a decision introduced by the Organisation for Islamic Cooperation and the Palestinian delegation to the U.N.
