Islamist mob in Pakistan attempt to lynch a person for allegedly desecrating Quran

In a surprising incident, an Islamist mob in Pakistan’s Karachi tried to lynch a person to loss of life after he had allegedly desecrated a duplicate of the Quran. The indignant mob attacked the person on the fees of blasphemy regardless of the presence of police officers.
According to the South Asia Media Research Institute (SAMRI), the Islamist mob thronged close to a clothes manufacturing unit in Karachi and dragged a person to lynch him for allegedly desecrating the copy of the Quran. However, the person has denied the fees, and stated that he had questioned maulanas for taking cash promising to resolve issues, however not doing something after that.

A video of the incident at JB Garments has gone viral on the web, through which one can see how a violent mob stormed the gates of the manufacturing unit to hold out an assault. Amidst the chants of “Naara-e-Takbeer”, the Islamist mob attacked the person. However. the person survived the assault, though he was critically injured.
Shockingly, the complete incident occurred within the presence of Police officers and Rangers, who had been closely outnumbered towards the unruly mob. The police power failed to guard the sufferer.

Man denies the allegations
After the assault, the sufferer narrated the complete incident, and denied disrespecting the Quran. He stated that he was going by way of some household issues, and had approached a maulana to resolve it. The maulana had taken cash from it however didn’t do something to resolve his downside.
