Iranian girls take off Hijab, protest Mahsa Amini’s loss of life after detention by ‘Morality Police’

Protests broke out in western Iran on the funeral of a 22-year-old Mahsa Amini who died after being in detention by morality police implementing strict hijab guidelines on Saturday, September 17.

Women eliminated their hijab to protest in opposition to the loss of life of the younger girl in detention. As safety forces used tear gasoline to disperse protesters, the ladies chanted “death to the dictator!”

The loss of life of the 22-year-old Iranian girl in detention by morality police sparked protest by a number of Iranians who took to the road to protest. Some even protest on social media platforms.

An Iranian journalist tweeted, “Removing hijab is a punishable crime in Iran. We call on women and men around the world to show solidarity.”

Mahsa Amini was detained by Iran’s morality police for allegedly not complying with the nation’s hijab rules.

Protesters even took down a banner of Qasem Soleimani (the lifeless commander of IRGC Quds pressure) whereas protesting.

In the previous few months, Iranian rights activists have urged girls to publicly take away their veils, a gesture that might threat their arrest for defying the Islamic costume code because the nation’s hardline rulers crack down more durable on “immoral behaviour”.

Videos posted on social media have proven instances of what seemed to be heavy-handed motion by morality police items in opposition to girls who had eliminated their hijab.

Authorities launched probes into the loss of life of Mahsa Amini following a requirement by President Ebrahim Raisi, state media reported. Police mentioned the 22-year-old was taken sick as she waited along with different detained girls at a morality police station.

“Since her transfer to the vehicle and also at the location (station), there was no physical encounter with her,” a police assertion mentioned, rejecting allegations on social media that Amini was doubtless overwhelmed.
