Indonesia looking for lacking submarine with dozens of individuals on board

Authorities in Indonesia have been attempting to find a lacking submarine on Wednesday.
The KRI Nanggala-402 submarine stopped responding on Wednesday morning, native media reported, citing protection officers.
Indonesian National Armed Forces Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto advised nationwide paper Kompas that the submarine disappeared in waters about 60 miles (95 kilometers) north of the island of Bali at about 3 a.m. native time.
“Just when the dive permit was given, after being given the clearance, contact was immediately lost,” he advised the paper.
It is considered one of 5 submarines owned by Indonesia and was inbuilt Germany in 1979.
Indonesia has requested the assistance of Australia and Singapore find the submarine.
Reuters information company stated 53 individuals have been on board and that it was concerned in torpedo drills when it went lacking.
