Headless ‘zombie’ frog jumps out from pot of sizzling chilli oil at Chinese restaurant, terrifies diners

A headless “zombie” frog, jumping out of a pot of hot chilli oil as if it was trying to escape, startled customers of a Chinese restaurant in Chengdu city in southwest China’s Sichuan province.

Customers at a Chinese restaurant were shocked when a headless “zombie” frog jumped out of a pot of sizzling chilli oil onto the desk. A buyer had ordered an area delicacy with bullfrogs marinated in chilli oil and peppercorns.

After the delicacy arrived at his desk, he was shocked when he seen that one of many headless frogs started twitching and it hopped out of the pot as if it was attempting to flee.

The incident occurred in a restaurant in Chengdu metropolis in southwest China’s Sichuan province, reported information organisation News18. This entertaining incident was caught on video and it was later shared on the Chinese model of TikTok, Douyin.

In the video of the incident, the headless, skinned frog is on the shopper’s plate alongside together with his different meals objects. But, when zoomed in, the frog is twitching and its legs are transferring backwards and forwards.

Soon, the frog’s twitching will get quicker and it all of the sudden hops off the plate and lands on the desk, as if it was attempting to flee. Even after touchdown on the desk, its legs continued to twitch for a couple of seconds.

The clip reportedly unfold like wildfire on Douyin, the Chinese equal of TikTok. Many even considered giving up on meat and going vegan. But News 18 reported that one person even joked about it, saying the restaurant served “fresh food” to prospects.

However, this isn’t the primary time that an animal meant to be consumed jumped out of a plate. Earlier, a fish had leapt out of a bowl at a Chinese restaurant.

A video confirmed the ‘zombie’ fish leaping out of the bowl, onto the desk and persevering with to breathe. This was reported by Metro.co.uk.
