By India Today World Desk: Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, who was granted bail on Friday, acknowledged that the “law of the jungle” was prevailing exterior the courts the place “only one man” was making the alternatives. Without naming him, Imran Khan lashed out at Army Chief General Asim Munir.

“I don’t know what will happen once I get out and I think they might try to arrest me again. And if they do arrest me, and there’s a reaction to it, they will hold me responsible. But how would I know?” Imran Khan acknowledged.

Talking regarding the violence that erupted all through Pakistan after his arrest, Imran Khan acknowledged, “I don’t know what happened in the Lahore Corps Commander’s house. I was in jail. It is the army chief who is ruining this country and causing so much damage to this country that even our enemies did not do.”

When requested if his battle was in opposition to security companies, PTI chairman Imran Khan sad his battle was in opposition to at least one man.

“It’s not the security firm, it’s one man — the army chief,” he was quoted as saying by The Dawn.

“There is no democracy in the army. The army is getting maligned by what is happening right now — and sadly the events that have happened when I was inside, I only found out afterwards — the army is getting maligned because of one man,” he told reporters.

IMRAN KHAN GRANTED BAIL

The Islamabad High Court on Friday granted him protective bail for two weeks in a corruption case and barred the authorities from arresting the former Pakistan premier in any case registered anywhere in the country until May 15.

Three different benches of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) granted relief to the 70-year-old Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief who was escorted to the court amid tight security.

This comes a day after Pakistan’s Supreme Court declared Imran Khan’s arrest “illegal” and ordered his fast launch after he was produced sooner than a bench on its orders. The Supreme Court bench was listening to a petition in opposition to his arrest from the Islamabad High Court on Tuesday.
