Fourth ISIS ‘Beatle’ charged with terror by UK courtroom

A 38-year-old man was discovered responsible of being related to the fear organisation ISIS by a British jury on August 11. HOW AINE DAVIS WAS ARRESTED

The 38-year-old was arrested by a unit of the Metropolitan Police at Luton Airport after he landed within the UK from Turkey. Notably, Davis flew from Turkey after serving greater than a six-year sentence in Turkey for his membership in ISIS.

Said to be the fourth member of the ISIS group ‘The Beatles’, Davis is accused of harassing, murdering and torturing western hostages in Iraq and Syria. Reports recommend that the US killed the group chief – Mohammed Emwazi – in a drone strike carried out in 2015. The chief was often known as ‘Jihadi John’ who was named in movies of the beheading of American journalist James Foley.

Other members are alive, particularly, Alexanda Kotey, and El Shafee Elsheikh. Kotey and Elsheikh had been nabbed by Kurdish forces in Syria in 2018 and are mentioned to be within the custody of the US.

Taking to Twitter, the Metropolitan Police shared, “A man has been arrested by officers from the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command this evening at Luton airport in relation to various terrorism offences. He was taken to a London police station, where he currently remains in custody.”
