By India Today Web Desk: Former President of Pakistan, General Pervez Musharraf (Retd), handed away on Sunday on the age of 79 at a hospital in Dubai, Geo News reported.

The former navy ruler handed away after a chronic sickness. He was present process remedy at American Hospital Dubai.

A senior chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf, Fawad Hussain, took to Twitter to increase his condolences and wrote, “Pervez Musharraf passed away, he was a great person, always Pakistan first was his thought and ideology. May God have mercy on him.”
