Float depicting Indira Gandhi’s assassination a part of Khalistani parade in Canada | Video

By Subodh Kumar: A video has emerged on social media displaying a float depicting the assassination of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The float was reportedly a part of a 5-km lengthy parade taken out by Khalistani supporters in Canada’s Brampton.

India Today can’t affirm the veracity of the video.

The purported video is believed to be from a parade taken out in Brampton by Khalistan supporters on June 4, simply days earlier than the thirty ninth anniversary of Operation Blue Star on June 6.

The video drew a pointy response from netizens, with a number of social media customers condemning the parade taken out by Khalistan supporters.

OPERATION BLUE STAR AND INDIRA GANDHI’S ASSASSINATION

Operation Blue Star refers back to the Indian Army’s assault on the militants holed up contained in the Golden Temple in Punjab’s Amritsar.
