Fire engulfs workplace tower in southern Chinese metropolis

An enormous hearth engulfed a high-rise workplace constructing in downtown Changsha, capital of China’s southern province of Hunan, on Friday afternoon, state media reported.

Dozens of storeys of the greater than 200-metre tall (656-foot) China Telecom constructing “burned with great intensity”, sending thick smoke into the sky, state broadcaster CCTV stated.

The hearth has been put out, however casualty numbers usually are not identified but, it reported.
