In a surprising incident, an Australia-bound Emirates flight flew for almost 14 hours with a big gap in its facet. Those on board the Airbus A380 from Dubai to the Australian metropolis turned conscious of the harm after they exited the aircraft on July 1.

According to the airline, a tire was ruptured due to a “technical fault” throughout the journey, inflicting a puncture.
Commercial aviation web site Aviation Herald reported that the crew suggested air visitors controllers at Brisbane Airport of the state of affairs forward of time and requested that the aircraft be met by emergency companies on touchdown.

The Emirates, in an announcement, stated that the rupture didn’t influence “the fuselage, frame or structure of the aircraft.”

The plane had landed safely in Australia, and passengers had disembarked as scheduled. Damage to the outside of the wide-body airliner has since been repaired, the airline confirmed.
