By India Today World Desk: A Mongolian boy, born within the United States, has been named because the tenth Khalkha Jetsun Dhampa Rinpoche – the third highest rank in Tibetan Buddhism, by the Dalai Lama, a report within the Times mentioned.

According to the report, the Dalai Lama was pictured with the eight-year-old boy at a ceremony on March 8 in Dharamshala, the place the Buddhist chief lives in exile. The information of the ceremony was acquired with pleasure and apprehension as the specter of China’s displeasure over the transfer lingers, the report added.
