Chopper with Pak military officers goes lacking in Balochistan: Report

A chopper of the Pakistan Army Aviation Corps, tasked with offering shut aerial fight assist for the Pakistan Army, carrying senior army officers has reportedly gone lacking in Balochistan.

According to the Pakistan military, the chopper was on flood reduction operations in Lasbela when it went lacking greater than 5 hours in the past.

A Pakistan military aviation helicopter which was on flood reduction operations in Lasbela, Balochistan misplaced contact with ATC. 6 people have been on board together with Commander 12 Corps who was supervising flood reduction operations in Balochistan. Search operation is underway.DTF

Six officers have been onboard, together with Corps Commander 12 (Quetta), who was supervising the flood reduction operations.

“A Pakistan army aviation helicopter which was on flood relief operations in Lasbela, Balochistan lost contact with ATC. Six individuals were on board, including Commander 12 Corps who was supervising flood relief operations in Balochistan. Search operation is underway,” Pakistan armed forces stated in a tweet.

A search operation is presently underway.
