By India Today Web Desk: China stated that the scenario is ‘steady’ on India border after stories of clashes, information company AFP reported. This is the primary response of China after Indian and Chinese troops have been engaged in a face-off in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tawan sector on December 9.

“As far as we understand, the China-India border situation is stable overall,” international ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin stated, including the 2 sides “maintained unobstructed dialogue on the border issue through diplomatic and military channels.”

Indian and Chinese troops clashed alongside the Line of Actual Control (LAC) within the Tawang sector of Arunachal Pradesh on December 9, the Indian Army stated in an announcement. Both Indian and Chinese troopers suffered ‘minor accidents’ because of the face-off, the Army stated.

Over 200 Chinese troopers carrying spiked golf equipment and sticks clashed with Indian troopers in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tawang sector, a supply informed information company PTI. The conflict close to Yangtse alongside the LAC befell final Friday amid the over 30-month border standoff between the 2 sides in japanese Ladakh.

“PLA troops contacted the LAC in Tawang Sector, which was contested by own (Indian) troops in a firm and resolute manner. This face-off led to minor injuries to few personnel from both sides,” the Army stated in an announcement.

“Both sides immediately disengaged from the area. As a follow up to the incident, own Commander in the area held a Flag Meeting with his counterpart to discuss the issue in accordance with structured mechanisms to restore peace and tranquillity,” the federal government stated.

INDIA’s RESPONSE ON CLASH

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh addressed the difficulty of India-China border conflict in Parliament and stated the Indian Army bravely thwarted an try by the Chinese PLA from “unilaterally” altering the established order within the Yangtse space. There have been no fatalities or severe accidents to Indian troops within the scuffle, he stated.

Singh stated the scuffle led to accidents to a couple personnel on each side, including that the Chinese aspect was requested to chorus from such actions and preserve peace and tranquillity alongside the border. “The issue has also been taken up with the Chinese side through diplomatic channels,” he stated.

On the opposite hand, Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated nobody can seize one inch of land until the Narendra Modi authorities is in energy.
