British royal guards faint from warmth as Prince William inspects navy parade | WATCH

By India Today World Desk: At least three British guardsmen fainted within the scorching warmth throughout a royal navy parade inspected by Prince William on Saturday at Horse Guards Parade in central London.

The temperatures within the UK crossed 30 levels Celsius (86F) for the primary time this 12 months. 30.5°C was recorded at Heathrow and 31.2°C was later recorded in Surrey, reported Sky News.

The Prince of Wales led the Colonel’s Review. He paid tribute to troopers on social media.

In a tweet, he stated: “A big thank you to every solider (sic) who took part in the Colonel’s Review this morning in the heat. Difficult conditions but you all did a really good job. Thank you. W.”

The Colonel’s Review was held forward of the Trooping the Colour parade, which takes place subsequent Saturday.
