Boeing 737 cargo airplane makes emergency touchdown in water off Honolulu

A Boeing Co. 737 cargo plane with two folks on board made an emergency touchdown within the ocean off the coast of Honolulu, Hawaii, early on Friday, the US aviation security regulator stated.
“The pilots had reported engine trouble and were attempting to return to Honolulu when they were forced to land the aircraft in the water,” the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) stated in an announcement.
Shares of Boeing fell 2 per cent.
“According to preliminary information, the U.S. Coast Guard rescued both crew members.”

The airplane was operated by Rhodes Express.
CNBC earlier reported {that a} Boeing 737 had come down within the water.
Boeing was not instantly out there for remark.
