Boats attempt to extinguish fireplace in Gulf of Mexico with water, netizens puzzled

On Friday (July 3), a hearth broke out within the Gulf of Mexico after a fuel leak from an underwater pipeline of a State-owned oil firm Pemex.
According to Pemex, the hearth broke out in an underwater pipeline close to Ku Maloob Zaap oil growth. It ignited at round 5:15 am native time and extinguished by 10:30 am. Reportedly, the adjoining boats used water streams in addition to nitrogen to extinguish the hearth. In visuals which have surfaced on-line, it confirmed orange flames popping out of water. The firm knowledgeable no accidents had been reported and that manufacturing was not affected.

Ku Maloob Zaap, positioned close to the southern rim of the Gulf of Mexico, is the most important producer of crude oil for Permex. It had vowed to research the reason for the hearth. Citing sources, Reuters reported, “The turbomachinery of Ku Maloob Zaap’s active production facilities were affected by an electrical storm and heavy rains.”

ASEA, the oil security regulator of Mexico, denied any oil spills however couldn’t clarify what was burning on the floor of the water.
