Authorities have found an outbreak of what they believe is the highly-contagious chook flu pressure, at a farm within the Netherlands and about 168,000 chickens might be culled, the Agriculture Ministry stated in a press release on Tuesday.
There are not any different poultry farms within the fast neighborhood.
Those inside a radius of 10 kilometers (six miles) have been banned from transporting poultry, eggs and poultry waste to stop the unfold of the H5N1 virus, the ministry stated.
Hundreds of hundreds of chickens, geese, turkeys and dozens of untamed birds have been culled within the Netherlands since outbreaks of the illness started in 2021.
