Biden says not prone to go to Ukraine in coming Europe journey

US President Joe Biden mentioned on Monday that he’s not prone to go to Ukraine on his upcoming Europe journey.

US President Joe Biden mentioned Monday he’ll most likely not go to Ukraine throughout a visit to Europe that begins this week.

Biden first mentioned “that depends” when requested if he deliberate to go to Ukraine.

But then he mentioned “on this trip, not likely,” as he spoke to reporters who pressed him about such a risk as he strolled on the seashore throughout a protracted vacation weekend.

Biden is amongst a shrinking variety of main Western leaders who haven’t but visited Ukraine to point out help towards the Russian invasion.

Last week, French President Emmanuel Macron joined the prime ministers of Germany and Italy in visiting Ukraine, and Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been there twice.

Biden did go so far as Poland, which borders Ukraine to the west, in late March.

Biden is heading to Germany on Saturday for a Group of Seven Summit, then on to Madrid for a gathering of NATO leaders.

He instructed reporters a go to to Ukraine would rely upon “a lot of things, whether or not it causes more difficulties for Ukrainians, whether it distracts from what’s going on.”

Then he mentioned such a visit is unlikely throughout this tour of Europe.

Biden mentioned he’s in shut contact with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, talking to him “almost four times a week.”
