By India Today Web Desk: Police have arrested an Australian man for concocting a narrative of a faux abduction to spend New Year’s Eve along with his lover, away from his girlfriend.

The suspect has been recognized as 35-year-old Paul Iera. He has been charged with making false accusations with intent in addition to the false illustration that resulted in a police investigation.
