Al-Qaeda threatens assaults on India over Atiq Ahmed’s murder

By Arvind Ojha, Subodh Kumar: Al-Qaeda in Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) has threatened assaults on India over the murder of gangster Atiq Ahmed whereas in custody. In its Eid message, the concern group threatened revenge and known as Atiq and his brother Ashraf “martyrs”.

In its 7-page journal launched by As-Sahab, the propaganda media wing of Al-Qaeda, the concern group moreover promised to “liberate Muslims”.

The AQIS fumed over the killing of Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf and praised them as “martyrs”.
