By Reuters: At least eight Iraqi federal policemen have been killed on Sunday after a bomb struck their convoy southwest of the oil-rich metropolis of Kirkuk, two safety sources instructed Reuters.

The blast happened close to the village of Safra , which lies about 30 km (20 miles) southwest of Kirkuk, stated the supply, including that two different policemen have been critically wounded.

There was no instant declare of duty, however Islamic State militants are energetic within the space. Iraq declared victory over the group, which as soon as held massive swathes of the nation, in December 2017.
