At least seven individuals have been killed in Afghanistan on Tuesday when a blast hit a automobile carrying oil employees in Balkh.

By Reuters: At least seven individuals have been killed in Afghanistan on Tuesday when a blast hit a automobile carrying oil employees within the northern province of Balkh, whereas one other blast within the jap metropolis of Jalalabad injured six individuals.

“Today at around 7 a.m. a blast took place in …Balkh on a bus which belonged to Hairatan oil employees,” stated Mohammad Asif Wazeri, police spokesperson for the northern province.

At least six individuals have been wounded, he stated.

Balkh province is house to one among Afghanistan’s major dry ports within the city of Hairatan, close to the border with Uzbekistan, which has rail and street hyperlinks to Central Asia.

Wazeri stated Balkh police was looking for a perpetrator behind the explosion on the automobile. It was not clear who the staff on the bus labored for.

Another blast later within the day close to the cash alternate market in Jalalabad injured six individuals, in response to police in Nangahar province.

The reason behind each blasts was not instantly clear.
