Seven individuals have been killed after a army airplane crashed in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital on Sunday, an official stated. Ibikunle Daramola, the air pressure spokesperson, confirmed the crash in a press release in Abuja, saying that “a Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Beechcraft KingAir B350i aircraft crashed while returning to the Abuja Airport after reporting engine failure enroute Minna”, capital of the Niger state within the nation’s central-north area, Xinhua reported.
“First responders are at the scene. Sadly, all 7 personnel on board died in the crash,” Daramola stated.
According to the spokesperson, the Chief of the Air Staff Oladayo Amao has ordered a direct investigation into the incident, urging the general public to stay calm and await the result of the investigation.

A supply on the Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB) informed Xinhua that the voice recorder of the plane had been discovered.
“From the voice recorder found, we can tell that the pilot did not declare Mayday. He obviously thought he would make it to the runway which is 400 metres away from here,” stated the supply who most well-liked to be nameless.
