By Reuters: Two planes collided midair on Saturday at a World War Two commemorative airshow in Dallas, federal officers stated.

A Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress bomber and a Bell P-63 Kingcobra fighter collided and crashed on the Wings Over Dallas Airshow at Dallas Executive Airport at 1:20 p.m. CST (1820 GMT), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) stated in an announcement.

Emergency crews had been responding to the crash, airport officers stated on Twitter. The present is described because the nation’s premiere World War Two airshow.

It was unclear how many individuals had been aboard the 2 plane, the FAA stated.

Video clips posted on social media confirmed the 2 plane colliding and crashing on the bottom shortly afterwards, engulfed by flames.
