Some 250,000 mourners filed previous Queen Elizabeth’s coffin at Westminster Hall in London throughout her lying-in-state, Britain’s tradition minister Michelle Donelan stated on Tuesday.

“It’s approximately around the 250,000 mark. We’re just crunching those final numbers,” Donelan informed Times radio. The full figures can be launched sooner or later, she added.

Members of the general public paid their closing respects to the queen at Westminster Hall, the oldest a part of the parliamentary property, having waited for a lot of hours in an extended queue snaking by means of central London for over 4 days.
