13 killed, 25 injured in Pakistan bus accident

By Press Trust of India: A bus travelling on a freeway in Pakistan’s Punjab province overturned resulting from a brake failure on Saturday, killing a minimum of 13 folks, together with 5 girls and three kids, officers stated.

The bus was travelling from Lahore to Rawalpindi when it overturned close to Kallar Kahar salt vary.

“At least 13 passengers, including five women and three children, were killed, and another 25 injured,” officers stated.

The National Highways and Motorway Police stated in line with preliminary studies, the accident occurred resulting from brake failure.

There had been 34 passengers onboard, police stated.

Rescue officers stated the dying toll might rise as a number of the injured had been important.

Motorway police stated two lanes of the six-lane freeway had been closed to permit officers to fish out the victims.
