13 lifeless in floods, landslides in Philippines

By India Today Web Desk: As many as 13 individuals died and over 20 are nonetheless lacking in flash floods and landslides triggered by heavy rain in southern elements of the Philippines on Christmas day.

The seek for 23 lacking individuals from the floods, that led to almost 46,000 evacuations, continues to be ongoing, reported native media.

Nearly 46,000 persons are in evacuation centres as photographs and movies on social media confirmed the extent of the harm brought on by the floods.

“We need food. Our house and animals were carried away by floods,” a Philippines resident was quoted as saying by native media.

Most of the 13 reported deaths had been brought on by drowning and flash floods, the report mentioned, including that rehabilitation work is ongoing.
