Royal Enfield sales down 7% in October, selling 66,891 units

Bike manufacturer Royal Enfield has said that its total sales fell by 7 percent to 66,891 units in October. The company said in a statement that it had sold 71,964 vehicles in the same month a year earlier.

The company’s domestic sales during this year fell by 7 percent to 62,858 units from 67,538 bikes a year ago. Similarly, the company’s exports fell 9 percent to 4,033 units in October 2020 from 4,426 units a year earlier.

Royal Enfield has launched a completely new range of CE Certified Riding Jackets. It is based on different types of riding needs. This new riding jacket range is designed keeping in mind the different weather conditions and terrain.

The price of these new jackets ranges from Rs 4950 to Rs 14950. Prioritizing safety, Royal Enfield has ensured that these jackets stand up to global safety norms. The new Riding Jackets range consists of 5 jackets which are CE Certified as well as Class A Protection under Personal Protective Equipment Regulations. With these jackets, the bike can be run on all kinds of conditions on and off road.
